In developing this website, the Calgary Public Library would like to acknowledge the wonderful support from the following partners:
The Library Foundation was created in 1999 to provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses and foundations to participate in building a library system for today and future generations. Funds raised by the Library Foundation do not replace the Library's core funding, but enhance collections, programs and services. Through the generosity of our donors, we can help ensure that knowledge, information, programs and services are accessible to all Calgarians. Our vision is to enable the Citizens of Calgary to have the best public library in the world.

The City of Calgary, Corporate Records, Archives acquires, preserves, and provides access to civic records of enduring value. These records, created by the municipal government of The City of Calgary, include records pertaining to Calgary’s floods, building history research, land use history research, departmental annual reports, records of elected officials, and municipal handbooks from 1913 on. The Archives also holds some private records, the largest holdings of which are the records of OCO ’88, the Organizing Committee of the XV Olympic Winter Games.
